As founding member of the Comprehensive Heart Failure Center (CHFC) Wuerzburg, I am heading the Dept. Clinical Research & Epidemiology. I am responsible for the Outpatient Services and the Clinical Research Unit of the CHFC, which lives by the idea to integrate research and patient care. My research focus is on clinical studies (trials, prospective cohort studies, surveys), epidemiology including implementation research and public awareness, non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, acute heart failure, and rare cardiac diseases.
