Graduated cum laude at Trieste University in 1979; in Cardiology at Verona University in 1985 Since 1981 involved in studies about cardiomyopathies, pericardial diseases, cardiotoxicity of anticancer drugs, cardiac tumors. Since 1982 involved in cardio-oncology (in a dedicated Cancer Hospital part-time from 1984 and full-time since 1999) Author of >100 papers in the field of echocardiography, cardiomyopathies and cardiooncology. Organized the Meetings "Cancer and the Heart", held in 1992 and 1994 in Italy In 2017 published (by Springer) the Manual of Cardio-Oncology Member of the: Executive Committee of the Cardio-Oncology Toxicity (COT) Registry of the ESC; Board of the Italian Council of Cardiology Practice; Cardio-oncology Council of ESC; Steering and Executive Committee of the International Registry to Assess Cardiac Tumours (INTERACT);Task Force for Cardio-Oncology of ANMCO: Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Ultrasounds Hobbies: cross.country skying, reading
