Doctor Yi-Hsueh Liu

Dr. Yi-Hsueh Liu is a cardiologist at Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital. He earned his MD from Kaohsiung Medical University in 2013, then completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiology at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital. Since 2020, he has served as an attending cardiologist at both Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital and Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital. His clinical expertise includes treating cardiovascular diseases, as well as performing peripheral vascular interventions and complex percutaneous coronary interventions. In 2022, he earned a Master of Science from Kaohsiung Medical University. Currently, he is pursuing his doctorate at the Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University. His research interests include the predictive power of myocardial perfusion imaging for cardiovascular events in patients with CKD, and the relationship between gut microbiota and cardiovascular diseases.
