Dr. Mirta Diez began her medical training at the University Hospital in Buenos AIres in 1984. She completed her Fellowship in Internal Medicine and then in Cardiology. Within Cardiology, his area of ​​interest is heart failure and heart transplantation. She served as Medial Coordinator of the department of heart failure and transplantation at Favaloro Foundation and since 2012 served as head of the Heart Failure and Transplantation Program of the Cardiovascular Institute of Buenos Aires. She is regular member of the Argentine Society of Cardiology, member of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), member of the American Association of Thorax (ALAT) and Past Director of the Council on Heart Failure, Argentine Society of Cardiology. She served as Secretary at the Argentine Society of Cardiology. She is author of more than 40 papers in peer review Journals and is a member of the Pos grade Continuing Education staff at the Argentina Society of Cardiology.
