Panagiota Pietri is Cardiologist and she is currently Director of Hypertension Unit at Athens Medical Center, Athens, Greece. She has been graduated from Athens Medical School, University of Athens, Greece. She has been a Research Fellow at the 1st Cardiology Department of Athens Medical School, where she acquired her PhD diploma. Dr Pietri has made several scientific contributions in the field of arterial hypertension and cardiovascular aging. She has 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals with a cumulative impact factor of 265, more than 1100 citations and H-index of 18. She has presented her research work at several ESC Congresses and she has been a co-author in chapters of Cardiology books. As an invited speaker, she has given several lectures on arterial hypertension and prevention of cardiovascular disease. She has been served as a member of scientific organizing committees and scientific programme coordinator of scientific meetings in Greece. Dr Pietri is a Fellow of ESC.
