I am a professor of Medicine & Clinical Cardiologist at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria and also at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. I holds the feloowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and West African College of Physicians in Internal Medicine/Cardiology. I also holds the Fellowship of the International Society of Hypertension. My research interest are in hypertension, heart failure and rheumatic heart disease studies. I am a DAAD Alumni and have collaborated in many landmark studies in Nigeria/Africa and look forward to more collaboration. I am also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology. I am an incurable optimist about Africa and its vast potentials to provide solutions to the increasing problem of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in the face of very limited resources and serious challenges. I am a memeber of the Regional Advistory Group of the ISH.
